A compact detective story. If you’re slow like me, it takes about 2 hours. If not, an hour and a half.
A film director has been found dead at a hotel, and the entire crew has been confined to the top floor until the investigator—you—arrives. You walk around in isometric view, ask questions, spot inconsistencies, and narrow down the list of suspects. Unlike on the poster, the characters in the actual game are easy to tell apart, but there's still a spoiler: the one looking straight at the viewer on the poster is the main suspect.
The game is free, but very polished, and it even has cozy animation reminiscent of Neighbors from Hell (any old-timers here?). Great work. The afterword mentions the upcoming third and fourth games, while this detective story turned out to be game number two; the first was free as well. I have no idea how the developer is surviving like this (maybe they’re a billionaire’s kid?), but they should absolutely keep making games.
