"A Full-fledged Comedy" by Nik Pushkarski, the cover art

This is how she would describe her life, in general. A full-fledged comedy.

"It might be a dramedy in some other universe", she's been thinking occasionally. "But not in this one, lol."

Such thoughts would come to her in the morning, when she usually awakes with a start, stares at the ceiling for a second, and then this rumination kicks in. "My life is a joke, my life is freaking comedy, oh boy..."

After that, she would try and wake up, but fall back into the bed in most cases. "Pathetic", she would state aloud and then try to get up again, succeed, and then go to the kitchen, mumbling some rhymes on the go.

As a young star, she felt the whole pressure of early fame on her skin recently. Basically, she's been under constant surveillance of her fans since she got a Grammy as "The Best New Artist", which forced her to take stock of her appearance each and every time she would go outside. "Every god damn time," she'd say, straightening her t-shirt in front of a mirror and guessing if somebody outside ever assumed that she was a person too and might feel insecure about herself and her life. The sad news is that the answer would be probably "no one".
